These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of bicycle collection, servicing, repair, and return services by Bike Butler (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”, “your”). By booking a service with us via our website, phone, or any other channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Provided

  • We collect your bicycle from your chosen address, transport it to our workshop or partner service centre, complete the requested service(s), and return it within the agreed timeframe.

  • Services include (but are not limited to) general servicing, safety checks, puncture repairs, part replacement, and performance upgrades.

  • Any additional work identified will be communicated to you with a revised quote before proceeding.

Booking & Payment

  • Bookings must be made online at www.bikebutler.ie or by phone/email.

  • Payment is required in advance for standard services. For additional work identified after collection, full payment must be received before your bike is returned.

  • Prices include VAT at the applicable Irish rate.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before collection for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of collection are non-refundable.

  • If we are unable to provide the service (e.g., due to workshop capacity or parts availability), we will refund you in full.

Delivery & Turnaround

  • We aim to return serviced bicycles within 72 hours of collection, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Delays due to parts availability or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (e.g., supplier delays, extreme weather, or traffic).

  • We take reasonable care in handling and transporting bicycles, but we are not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage or faults

    • Wear and tear during normal use

    • Loss or theft caused by circumstances beyond our control

  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service provided or the replacement value of the bicycle, whichever is lower.

Parts & Warranty

  • All replacement parts are sourced from reputable suppliers.

  • Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will pass on to you.

  • Our workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.

    • The bicycle is available for collection at the agreed time.

    • You provide accurate contact and address details.

    • You disclose any known faults or safety issues in advance.
